ReplyDeleteRobertina I would not be surprised if there was an Antonio Manoel. My gramp was the 8th child of Antonio Manoel Santos and Joana Maria Josefa Joana Maria was from Santo Antao and her husb was from Sao Nicolau but they moved to Sao Vicente, and then I think Joana and some of the kids came to the US and settled in the Cape. There is a researcher on the CV DNA page who has indexed most if not all of the Santo Antao records. But stay tuned as we are currently indexing all of the church records. The time frame seems correct. Stay in touch!!!!!
