On 2/5/53 - Joao Roberto de Brito (     ))  s/o Roberto ________ de Brito (     ) & Antonia Roza Varella (I think the priest made a mistake on this name) md Maria Antonia Varella (d/o Antonia Roza Varella). This is my family.  

 

Notes --     See how the priest says Antonia Roza Varella twice!!! as the mother of BOTH the bride & the groom!!!    --  I believe she is properly the mother of Maria Antonia.  --    Maria is the sister of my second great grandmother (Rosa Antonia Varella) -- The groom's father is listed with no middle name which makes it difficult to determine his wife's name.  However, in my Brito blog section I currently have only men named Roberto Antonio or Roberto Jose.   All of them would have been too young to have had a child in 1833 or so when the groom Joao would have been born.  Except for --- Roberto Antonio who was married to Anna Joanna (Livramento/Lima) who would have been young enough & at this point in time he is our only option.  We need to wait for more records or some corroborating family information.   Joao died between 1853 & 1855 & I was hoping to find a death record which would have listed his father's full name and the name of his mother.  However, the da Lapa internet records do no start until 1871 & the do Rosario records do not start until 1855 and he is not in 1855.  Maria Antonia remarried in 1855 and she was listed as the widow of Joao.

On 5/9/53 - Roberto Manoel ?Antonius?  md Domingas das Silva Correia --the parents info is confusing here b/c he says "Aquelle de" / That one of  & then he puts two names - Barbara Gomes dos Santos & Domingas da Silva Correa (clear that Domingas is the m/o Anna);  On 6/8/53, Antonio Pedro Affonso (     ) (s/o Pedro Affonso (      )) md Maria Margarida Gote (d/o Margarida Maria Gote) no witnesses; 

 HE WROTE THIS ABOVE MARRIAGE TWICE
