Sao Vicente da Luz Baptisms - 13/19, On 1/8/1888, Antonio (an adult) (of SA), was baptized in Sao Vicente, he was b. 12/11/63.  He was "hebreus naturaes" from Gibraltar, s/o Jaime Levy Bentubo (s/o Abraao Levy Bentubo & Rachel Levy Bentubo) & Camilla Levy Bentubo (d/o Moises d' Elmare & Rachel d' Elmare).  The document indicates that "the newly baptized is the son  of Hebrew parents & until now had professed that religion that he now rejects.  He was taught the basis of our religion & all of the canonical procedures were observed"

Sao Vicente da Luz Baptisms - 352/135 - On 12/26/1887, Maria Rachel Souza was baptized in Sao Vicente, b. 10/1/1868, (adult converted) d/o Isaac Wahnon (s/o Jonas Wahnon & Dona Maria Wahnon)  & Dona Rachel Bentubo Wahnon (d/o Jaime Levi Bentubo & Dona Camilla d' Elmare  Bentubo) , "naturaes de Gibraltar Hebreus"/ Jewish from Gibraltar, now living in Sao Vicente, the godparents were Doctor Joao de Souza Machado, single, who was the Portuguese Government Deputy from Moimenta da Beira, & (Dona) Francisca Maria Miller, married (of Sao Nicolau).
