(Varocho) Joao Domingos de Brito signs the document.  doRMats1902-9 - 42/3 -  On - it says January but then above it is written in February 10, 1909, Miguel Serafim Gomes 36y, (s/o Serafim Luiz Gomes & Antonia Rosa Gomes) md Rosa Beatriz Monteiro 32y, (d/o Manoel Joao de Brito (x) & Beatriz Rosa Monteiro), w - Antonio Joaquim Duarte, md, carpenter & Miguel Antonio Fortes, proprietario, md, both of the w's lived in Queimadas (Q), & mentioned is (Varocho) Joao Domingos de Brito.   In the ACT of Marriage their child Josephina (she would have been Josephina Rosa Monteiro), b. 8/7/1904 & bap 8/5/1906 was recognized as the child of Miguel.
