Sr. da Luz,  289/125 - On    /1897, Arthur Dias Ben David was the godfather of Gertrudes (around April 1897).     da LMats 1892 - 178/8 - On 6/11/1892, Jose Antonio da Silva 29y, of ?Caixnco? (s/o Anna Antonia Silva, operaia) md Anna Rosa da Cruz, 24y, trabalhadora, of Pico Agudo, (d/o Rosa Maria da Cruz, trabalhadora).  RMdC is my 2nd grg & Anna is the sister of my great-grandmother, w -  Francisco Antonio Fortes & Arthur Dias BenDavid, single.

Sr. da Luz, & mistakenly in a tab for the wrong period of years -- 318/206, On .../1897, Miguel was bap, s/o David Azancott, single, (s/o Abrahao Azancott & Maria Jose Lisboa) & Maria Roza Almeida, single (d/o Antonio Manoel Ganeto & Rosa Margarida Ramalho).  The father recognized the child, gods -  Theophilo Duarte, negociante, single & Joanna Maria Conceicao Duarte, single, "profesora rejia"/a teacher by royal appointment/a professionally qualified teacher.                                                                                                                    

Antonio David Azancote -   Immigration 5/3/1909 - Ship Manoelinho, line 12, Antonio David Azancote, 23 & his brother, Joao David Azancote, 20, arrived in the US on 5/3/1909, both single, laborers, & the sons of David Azancote who they left behind in Sao Nicolau.  They would be joining a friend, Manoel Joao Brito at 320 South Water Street in New Bedford, Massachusetts.

Theophilo David Azancoth - WW 1 Draft Registration Card - he registered on 6/5/1917, b. 11/18/1897 in Sao Nicolau, he lived at 120 South Second Street, New Bedford, Massachusetts, age 23.  He was a rope worker at New Bedford Cordage.
